"Prince Come Home: Community Action with Unhoused Friends,” tells the heartwarming story of Kaitlyn’s recovery of her stolen dog Prince through mutual aid community action. Kaitlyn was homeless and needed desperately to go to the hospital. When a rich chiropractor with a suspicious interest in her dog offered to watch him while she was inpatient, she had no choice but to accept. The chiropractor refused to return her dog once she had recovered, but with the help of friends in the North Seattle Neighbors mutual aid group, Kaitlyn took action and got her dog back. The zine also discusses generally what its like being homeless with a dog, and the wild misconceptions held by housed folks about unhoused dogowners.
